PGWP Rejected. Need HELP ! status valid until july 2017

Hi,

I applied for PGWP, due to some circumstances i could not study one semester. Took one subject each in last two semesters. I completed M.Eng from a university as a full time student. I got my application refused once at border and the second time at CIC. I have status valid until July 31 2017

What can i do now? re apply for PGWP or what is the other way for me to obtain work permit other than LMIA. I dont know what do do. I have applied for CSQ for which i might get a reply in January.

Hi

As you took one semester off and your last 2 semesters were part-time, you fail to meet the requirement of having studied continuously full-time and so were correctly refused. IRCC is very clear that only in the last semester can a person study part-time and still qualify for a PGWP.

There is no point in reapplying for a PGWP. At this point, it doesn't look like you have any options available to apply for a work permit.

You can go back to school as full time student and reapply PGWP again.
