PGWP question

Can one continue working if their PGWP application is under process but their off campus work permit is expired? The wait times for PGWP are extremely long at the moment; does the fact that the PGWP application is under process mean that their is implied status of some kind?

Yes, you can continue working under implied status, as long as you have submitted an application to cic for a new permit, in that case your PGWP.

The status you had when you applied, is going to be valid until you receive your reply on the new permit-application.

Thanks. And just for my knowledge. How does the SIN number play into all of this? I know SIN is only valid will your permits, so that will expire with the OCWP as well..
