So I finished my studies in April, got my completion letter in May, and applied for PGWP. I received the letter with an expiration date of mid-September, but I've been reading that IRCC is taking more than 4 months to process work permits. I started working in June and I explained to my employer the situation and even sent the link from Canada.ca that says that I can continue working even if my provisional letter expires (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/work-canada/permit/temporary/extend/after-apply.html).
Still, my employer says that if I don't get my work permit before mid-September, I need to get a new extension letter. Is it easy to get one? What would be the process, should I call IRCC or go to a Service Canada office?
