PGWP-Procedures and Timeframe

I understand there are many threads regarding this. Just had a quick query, on how to apply for PGWP and further how do we get our passports stamped if we are applying online for PGWP and TRV as well. In order to get a physical copy of the PGWP through mail, do we need to receive it in person? What if no one is available, as I might be working by then?

Thank you for the reply. I am sorry I should have been more specific. I wanted to know the specific procedure as to the process and delivery of PGWP. In effect, whether PGWP is delivered at home or a specific office from where we can collect it. I am in Ottawa as of now and thinking of whether to move or not. I have heard about some restrictions if one is living in Quebec, is that true?
