PGWP - Post Graduation Work Permit

Hi,

I am a Master's student at Canadian University and going to defend my thesis in Aug 2015.

Recently, I got a full time job offer in the area of my studies and I want to start this job right away (before graduation).

My question here is : Can I apply for PGWP before my graduation if I have completed my course and research work (only thesis defence is remaining), and I have a full time job offer.

Your answers would be a great help for me. Thanks in advance!

You cant apply for a PGWP until you got a graduation letter from your uni. or college .

If you can get that you can surely apply but i donnt think you can get it because a part of your course is still pending and they will not give it to you unless you have completed your course.

Aniways , you can still work as a part - time worker and can work 20 hours a week with studies . You should talk to your employer about this that if you can join as a part - time and then be full time once you completed your studies .
