PGWP occupations when study permit has conditions

Hi,

After submitting my PGWP a couple of days ago, I received a letter stating that I am allowed to work in any occupation with any employer until a decision is made. However, this letter should be attached to my study permit, which mistakenly has a condition stating I can't work in a childcare (I had submitted my medical tests, it was the immigration office mistake, but since I did not want to work with my study permit, I did not request an amendment to remove the condition at that time). Can I work in a childcare now? (My medical test is still valid and I am sure my WP won't have a condition).

Thanks in advance.

As long as you get IRCC to remove the condition first. Send in a webform with proof that you completed a medical in the past year.

Thank you for your reply. The thing is the confirmation letter I received after submitting my post graduate work permit, states that I can work in any occupation, and I think that is the most current proof of my eligibility to work. The condition I talked about is on my Study Permit, which I am not gonna use anymore, since I have graduated. I am not sure if I have to request an amendment to my Study Permit now. Besides, it is not as easy as sending a webform if you want to remove a condition, you have to mail a couple of document to RICC and it takes time.

Yes you are right it seems as though they are allowing you to work with no conditions now that you have received the letter. As long as you didn’t work before receiving the letter you are fine
