Hello all! Here is my situation:
I would like to work in education and childcare, and specified this on my application for my PGWP. On July 11, they sent me the information to get my medical exam; however, on July 12 they confirmed that my application was approved. A week later, I received my permit in the mail, with the condition that I cannot work in child care and education. I am already scheduled to receive a medical exam, so my questions are this:
1) If anyone else has faced this situation, did they amend your permit after you received your medical exam?
2) Am I going to be required to pay for a new permit? I don't understand why they sent me my permit before I got my medical exam, when I specified that I would be working in an area where I needed one.
