PGWP length

Hi! I will be applying for PGWP next month. I am enrolled in MA degree at York University. I will be graduating next month. I wanted to know the length of my PGWP. Most are saying i will be getting 12 months since my program is of same length. But the IRCC website states for Masters degree from DLI the PGWP is valid for up to 3 years, regardless of the program's length, Anyone has any idea on this? Thanks

It's correct.

You can apply for a 3-year PGWP, even if your master’s program was less than 2 years, as long as

• your program was at least 8 months (or 900 hours for Quebec programs) and
• you meet all other eligibility requirements

This doesn’t apply to certificate or diploma programs.
