Hi, I started my diploma program on September 2020 and finishing December 2021. However, on my program completion letter, it will say that the program expects students to finish within 24 months of starting program. How much pgwp length will I get? Thank you

If you will be completing 4 full time semesters by the end of December2021 then you will be getting a pgwp for a duration of 3years as your study was completed in an accelerated program but it was still a 2yr course.

Does he apply pgwp right after his graduation or wait? Is there any benefit for waiting to apply? also, what reason to provide for getting done with the diploma in 16 months? Thanks
Special cases
If you’re in any of these groups, you may be eligible for a PGWP.
Accelerated programs
If you complete your study program in less time than the normal length of the program, you may be eligible for a PGWP valid for the full length of your program.
For example, if you complete a 1 year study program in 8 months, you may be able to get a PGWP valid for 1 year.

Ask for a graduation letter from your college or ask them to write you a document that you will be graduating soon. You can apply right after you’re done with your studies so there’s no point in waiting
