I'm currently applying for the Masters in Accounting(MAcc) Program in the University of Alberta for Spring 2019 to take the CPA CFE upon graduation from the program. My problem is that is it possible to obtain a PGWP considering that the program only runs from May to August( 4months) every year. The program is eight months long. The reason is that there is a buffer is for students to continue fulfilling the practical work experience required by CPA Canada.
