PGWP holder with no health card in Ontario

Hi,

I just moved from Alberta and I just got my PGWP. Unfortunately, my health card of Alberta is expired and I thought, before moving to Ontario, that I would apply for it in Ontario after getting PGWP. Little did I know that in Ontario they need me to get full time job first before applying. So, here now I am without any full time job (searching full time job, and that was the sole purpose I moved) and without any health insurance. May I know what should I do now? I don't understand what should I do if I have to go to a doctor, is there anyway?

You can still go to the doctor. You will just have to pay for any care you receive out of your own pocket.

Thank you for your reply. What about the Hospital, for serious case if someone has to be admitted to hospital, does he have to pay whole amount of what would be needed? Is there any insurance I can subscribe to?
