I am a Post Graduate Work Permit holder (just got the PGWP) and I want to now extend the open work permit for my spouse. I have two very specific questions:
1) Does the job I, as foreign principal applicant, currently hold in NOC A have to be full-time? I am teaching as instructor at a university but only teach 1 course, so clearly not full-time.
2) Do I satisfy the requirement if I hold a job at the time of applying for the open work permit extension of my wife? Or do I in addition need to show that my job will last at least until a decision is made? My contract at the moment is limited until the end of April because there are no course taught at my university over the summer.
Can anyone who knows or has ideas about 1) or 2) give me some advice?
