PGWP holder applying for Express Entry under CEC

Hi all,

I am PGWP (Masters from Canada but B.Tech from India) holder with 1 year Canada Experience. My current point seems to be around 503.
I wanted to know if I should apply for ECA for my Indian degree? I am getting total 126 points for education (and not 135 since I am married). If I don't provide my B.Tech from India ECA will this reduce my points from 126? Also, my wife has done B.Tech from India and was thinking of providing her ECA. But, she gets just 9 points for her B.Tech degree. So, I don't think it as necessary for applying her ECA as well. Please guide what should be done.

The ECA is not necessary, since you have a master's degree from Canada.

If you have sufficient points to earn an ITA without it, it is not necessary.
