Hi guys! Its probably not the right place to ask this but I really need help in regarding my post-graduation work permit.
So I just finished my last semester at UofT. since my study permit is expiring on July 30 2019 and I have a job offer, I decided to take 3 double speed courses in the summer which run from April to June. I have completed all my final exam and the marks were out last week. I requested a letter of confirmation from school yesterday, they said the graduation assessment won't be done until the end of August even though I finished it already
But, they made an exception on my case to evaluate my file first and issued me the letter of completion.
However, my official transcript is not yet available and according to the IRCC website, "Applicant can apply with a copy of transcript from DLI website if official transcript is not available". Also, as per stated on my letter of confirmation, I have completed all the requirement for my degree and final transcript will be updated in November at the time of Convocation.
So I submitted my application yesterday with both my letter of completion and my unofficial transcript from DLI website (which my degree is still saying in progress but I did earn 20 credits which is needed to graduate)alongside with an explanation letter saying the following:
To whom it may concern,
Since my Official transcript is not yet available at this time, I have attached my current transcript copy from DLI website (Unofficial transcript from University of Toronto Website) along with my letter confirming completion of my degree and program of study as required and outlined in the Supporting documents section of Post-Graduation Work Permit Website of IRCC:
“The applicant may provide an official transcript issued by their DLI if available. Alternatively, the applicant may also provide a transcript copy from their DLI’s website.”
Please note that the transcript copy has stated that I have completed and earned 20 credits to today’s date which fulfilled the degree completion requirement (refer to the confirmation letter of degree completion attached), but the degree progress section is not yet updated to reflect this as per stated in the Confirmation letter of completion of the program of study I submitted.
