Hello,

I had 2 years of PGWP with a note that I was issued 2 years due to my passport expiry. So I renewed my passport and now I am going to proceed with extending my PGWP. On the IRCC portal, I believe it considers me as a new applicant rather than one extending the work permit because the total fee seems $255(Work Permit $155 + Open Work Permit Holder Fee $100). As far as I know, the regular extension fee is just $155. Did I select the wrong selection? I'd appreciate it if anyone who went through the same process could comment on this.

You need to pay 255$ for extension due to passport expiry as well as you will need to apply it on paper and send it through post.
 
IRCC strongly suggests to apply it on Paper, but I have also seen online application getting approvals. Cant really say though if it would be a problem
