PGWP Extension (Paper Application) Linking Issue

Hi all,

I've recently applied for a PGWP extension on paper due to previous passport expiry. I've been trying to link it to my IRCC account last week.

However, despite getting a page saying "already associated with your account--This application has already been linked to this account. To view your application, see the 'view my submitted applications' section on the main page of your account", I still don't see anything new on the account page.

Things I've tried:

  • waited a few days to see if anything changes, but nothing new still.
  • submitted a technical help ticket, but only got a confirmation email but no response, nor is this communication showing up under the "account messages" section at the bototm of the account's main page as my previous tech issue messages are.
  • called the 1888 number but nothing in their automated navigation list describes my issue, so it's difficult to proceed.
Has anyone encountered a similar situation, or could advice on how to move forward? Any help is appreciated!
