I applied for my PGWP extension and mailed it before the expiry of work permit because it was issued to the expiry of my passport. Upon delivery, I realised that I forgot to sign the IMM5710 form by hand and immediately submitted another application the following week incase they returned my application.
Both applications were delivered in December and the agent advised me that they only have my first application in the system. They suggested mailing a third application to Station 009 instead of Station 202. However, im currently on implied status. If I deliver another application, it would be while my status is out. Even though she advised I wouldn’t need to apply for restoration, im not 100% sure because im submitting an application after the expiration of my wp.
i dont know if I should wait until they happen the find my second application or apply for a third application with a restoration fee. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!!
