PGWP extension 2024

I came across a number of articles on the internet regarding the subject PGWP extension 2024 stating its a new policy since Aug 2024.
I didn't find any info on the IRCC website. Does anyone know if this info is accurate or know about this?

There is no PGWP extension. PGWP extension was a covid policy.
