PGWP expiring in Nov 2023, question about pgwp extension

Hi everyone,

There was an announcement earlier this year that international students who have work permits that expire between January and December 2022 will qualify for a new open work permit of 18 months.

How likely is it that this extension gets repeated for next year for those with work permit that expire in 2023? My work permit expires in November 2023 and I still have to get around 5 or 6 months of experience before being qualified, currently looking for a job.

That's really impossible for any of us to guess.

I would say best not to count on it happening.
