PGWP duration if finishing course 8 momths early?

So,
What if my diploma program is actually 24 months in length(actual 2 years, not just 16 months), But since I am at the University and take extra load in each semester and complete it in just months(Which is very much possible), do I get 3 years PGWP or just 16 months?

My official program transcript/degree will say '2 years'.
