Hi All,

I am an International student with the TRV ans study permit valid till 31st Dec 2015, I have applied to extend my study permit (not the TRV) even though I finish my study by Dec 2015 (coz I don't know if I'll get my grades in time or not). But after i get my study permit extension and get my grades, can I go to the Canadian border (I have a valid US visitor visa) with an expired TRV and a valid study permit to get my PGWP? and what other documents do I require ? (I am a student, and potential worker in Quebec). Thanks

No - you can't.

Why not, is there any particular reason? . I read that one can enter Canada with just a study permit and expired TRV. And in a seperate article that one can get a PGWP at the US Canada border. I just wanted to make sure whether I am allowed to do both together.

You would either need to hold a visa exempt passport or have a valid multiple entry visa. Since you have neither - you can't do it.

Hi

Me and my husband has valid TRV and we are planning to extent our study and work permit from the border. Could you please tell me all required documents list.
