PGWP APPLICATION - ERROR DESCRIPTION WHEN UPLOADING THE VALIDATED FORM

Hello,

Would be grateful if someone can shed light on this.

My current study permit will expire on 31 July 2020. I am applying for a PGWP since I've already got a job offer.
I completed and validated IMM5710E according to the instructions.
However, when I upload the validated form to the IRCC account, the following error message occurs:

Error Description:
your status expiry date in the answer you provided previously does not correspond to the restoration in your form. modify your answers or the value in your form)

I have checked everything on the form to make sure that the information is correct. I wonder if anyone knows what "restoration" means here, and how I can fix the issue in order to upload the form successfully for the PGWP application.

Did you check the box at the top of the form saying that you are applying for restoration? If you did, your status expiry date would have to have passed in order for the form to work . . although why it validated is a bit of a mystery.

You don't need a job offer for PGWP, our school even advised us not to put down any job offer so that you don't confuse them and they don't think you are applying for some other work permit.

Does anyone know if it's necessary to fill out Employment section ? IRCC guide says it's not required for PGWP applications, but why so many people filling out employment? I wish I don't have to, because I have a huge gap in my past employment.
