Hello. I hope all you guys having a great weekend.

I have some question about my PGWP and my husband's OWP.
I've enrolled 2 years diploma course so I have 2years of study permit and my husband also has
2years OWP.

But I decide to graduate only 1 year certification course and it will be finished this April.
However, my study permit and my husband open work permit are valid until MAY 2020.

I am planning to apply PGWP after graduation this April for 1 year which is same period I studied,
and I am curious about my husband OWP.

If I graduate and changed my visa status, is my husband's OWP also expired automatically? (even though he's work permit will still remain 1 year more, and assuming I am working below noc level B)

and one more thing,
if I graduate 1year certification course at public college and move to 1year course at PRIVATE college.
Can I apply PGWP after finish all of my study?
I know that we can apply PGWP only if we graduated from public within 180days of graduation.
so, if I study one year more at the private college it will be finished the time I can apply PGWP.

anyone had same experience with me?

Hi

Your husband's work permit remains valid until it expires.

No, you will not be able to apply for a PGWP if you move to a private college for a year.

I seriously suggest you finish the 2 year course to get a 3 year PGWP.

so, you meant that my husband's open work permit will be remained although I graduate 1 year earlier?

and even if I graduate only one year and applying 1year of PGWP, my husband doesn't need to
apply OWP again until he's visa is expired?

I thought that my husband's visa is connected with my study permit, so if my study permit is expired
it was supposed he's visa also expired.
