Hey there,
I applied for a study permit mid 2016 and got approved. Im currently finishing my last semester and i want to directly apply for PGWP as soon as i have my graduation letter/transcript in hand.
Now i have questions, i visited the US many many times and stayed there for a bit over 2 years, i would stay 3 months at the time, travel to Canada or Europe for a few weeks and would come back to the US.
However, i have overstayed my esta in the US for barely over a year and simply left early 2016.
I went through a lawyer for my study permit application and listed all the places ive lived in the past 10 years, including the US and attached a clean FBI certificate. I answered all the questions 100% truthfully and reviewed everything with my lawyer before sending it. I got approved after 2 weeks.
When im applying for the PGWP i need to include a scan of every single page of my passport that has a stamp on it.
Is there a way that CIC sees my overstay in the US (entry stamp and date of departure from my pgwp application)? Could i be denied that even though my intent is to work in order to apply for express entry/permanent residency which cant be overstayed obviously?
