After completing my PG work permit, now I need to get a HRSDC work permit, for that do I have to place ads in papers? and also does my job have to be one that is in demand?

Your employer has to advertise at the Canadian National Job Bank and another website or major daily for at least 14 days. Then s/he has to summarize the recruitment effort to show that no Canadian citizen or PR qualified/applied for the job before s/he can submit an application for Labor Market Opinion in your name.
 
Anita, You can also apply PR under CEC. Its fast..Sometimes decesion is made in 8 weeks or so. Then you don't have to worry about LMOs and changing employers etc.
