(PG) Work Permit Expriring in January 2024

Hi all,

(As it was recently announced that international graduates with a recently expired or expiring post-graduation work permit (“PGWP”) will quality for an additional or extended work permit of up to 18 months.)

From my research, i think it only applies to PGWP's expiring in 2023. My PGWP is expiring in January 2024, so I'm wondering what's the best course of action for me to extend it? Any input will be appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

Unfortunately you cannot apply to extend your PGWP at this time.

PGWP's are only issued one time, unless you qualify under the extension policy you mentioned in your post, that's not the case so you cannot extend your PGWP.
