PG Diploma - WES evaluation

Hello people

The college from which I passed out PG Diploma (2 years full time) doesn't show up as a autonomous college in the UGC list. Now what should I do? (Should I send them photocopies of attested marksheets and transcripts in a sealed envelop of the college itself..will that work for WES)

Kindly guide me as what should be my next actionable steps. Awaiting your reply

I had a similar problem but if your University is an autonomous status then it is fine even if the list doesn't includes your universities name. The problem is with the UGC site (i supposed).

My ECA done by WES acknowledges it as an autonomous university.

So I assume that WES will acknowledge the autonomous status of my institution (college) even though it is not listed on UGC and I need to send them attested photocopies of marksheets and transcripts in the college sealed envelop.

Friends I have something important to share

I have been exacerbately chasing for an answer to this question. I dropped an email earlier to WES and no response. After prodding them hard with few emails, I finally got success. With regards to the discourse on this forum on the evaluation of my PG Diploma educational credentials, to my surprise, I got a reversal from WES saying "If your college is autonomous, then you must arrange for the Registrar or Controller of Examinations of the college to attest and date your documents as per our Required Documents list online."

So now I will start the process to get my PG documents to be attested from the college itself.

Do share this piece of information to someone who needs it.

Yes, send it quickly as the assessment time or (TAT) is increasing day by day.

Can anyone tell me or guide me to a page where I can check if One year PG Diploma (DISTANCE MODE!!!) is considered by CIC? Does WES treat this degree as regular degree? Does it matter if it is 2 year diploma or one year?

Here you go. It does not mention 'distance' qualification specifically but I presume to get any CRS points it has to fall into one of these categories:
