Petition to the Government of Canada

Hello dear readers,

Below are links to the campaign we have started to keep us foreign workers in Canada. As some of you may already know, the Canadian government decided to shut down the whole Temporary Foreign Worker program, which is obviously bad for companies that cannot survive without foreign nationals, like translations, localization quality assurance, show business... You name it.

Industries like these bring a lot of tax dollars to the Canadian economy, so not only do we make Canada richer, we also offer jobs for Canadians in these companies. Management, human resourcing and recruitment are only a few examples of fields where Canadians work along us foreign workers.

By making our voices heard through signing a petition, we can all make a difference on our, our friends' and our families futures. Please sign the petition (link below) and come like our Facebook page!

I usually don't spam people to make a difference, but this is important so that we can all be guaranteed our jobs now and in the future. Please sign and spread the word. Let us stay.

The page can be found in Facebook by searching Reconsider the Temporary Foreign Worker Program. The link to the petition can be found on the Facebook page.

Hi,

Yes it did and no it did not. The current reform of the program is made so that skilled professionals are still able to apply, but this petition is to the Government of Canada to realize that there are industries that require foreign workers as well as Canadians. Currently no exceptions are made on any industries, such as the one mentioned in the petition, which in the end will cause the industries to leave the country. This is not only bad for the workers and the Canadians working in the jobs, but also to the economy as millions and millions of tax dollars will be lost.

Please ask if you have any other questions.
