Personal history gaps

Hello,

I have a question regarding a gap in the personal history, after graduation in June 2008 from high school my wife joined the university in September 2008, should I mention the period from June 2008 to September 2008 as unemployed or what?

Yes. 'Unemployed' is fine.

I have similar breaks in my personal history (transitioning from studying to working, or from one educational degree to another), but my lawyer advised stating this period as 'Unemployed.' I don't think it makes a difference to the CIC officer.
