Hello guys!!

Hope we are all feeling positive about the scores dropping down...

Just had a query about personal history of 10 years. Now, I have been in Canada for 4 years and worked some part time jobs. Also worked some years in foreign country. Does CIC scrutinize the personal history, cos I am not sure if I remember the exact start and end dates of my jobs 7 years ago. Neither will I be able to provide proof for them.
Another question I have is that I had 1 year internship after my bachelors degree in foreign country. Would that be under study or employment?
I am not mentioning my foreign bachelors degree in education history as I have masters from Canada. Hope that is fine and does not cause any issues. I will be mentioning it in my personal history though.

Cheers guys!!

This would be fine. The system will prompt you for start and end 'months'. You have to list ONLY those experience for which you're claiming points under CRS and/or program eligibility. You can leave out other jobs from Work history.

Unless this was mandatory course work related employment, you can include this as part-time experience (if you need those points AND you can conclusively prove this experience).

Not a problem at all.

Cheers guys!!

Thank you Asivad!!
I believe you are answering based on the Work history and education history questions before ITA...
However, I meant the 10 year personal history that you have to fill out after ITA...

You don't have to provide evidence for Personal history section so you're covered there. Mention all 'Employment', 'Education', 'Unemployed' status in Personal history section as accurately as possible - it is alright to be off by a month here and there.

In personal history and work history....what to fill 'unemployed' as i was mostly free for years......will it be a negative impact to my profile???

You will have to fill 'Unemployed' if you were unemployed. It won't make any difference to your application - CIC isn't recruiting you.

In Form 5669-E, background declaration form..it says mention your work, unemployed, study and travel...so do we mention travel history too in personal history section...please help...I got Additional doc above form req from CIC after submitting e-APR.

IMO, If you were working or studying during that period, you need not mention those travels in the personal history section. If you were unemployed and you were traveling, then you can mention "traveling" and state the purpose. That is why there is a separate travel history section.
