My personal History Timeline

May 2006-April 2011 -Bachelors(Home Country)
April 2011-Sep 2012 -Unemployed or N/A
Sep 2012-Sep 2013 -Masters (Abroad)
Oct 2013-Jan 2014 - Internship (Abroad)
Jan2014-April 2014- Unemployed or N/A
May 2014-Present- Working ( Two position in same company in Home country)

My issues:

1.I was studying for MBA after Bachelors I did 2 semesters then left for Masters in a different country.So should I mention that or Unemployed or N/A?Will it create problem having unemployed in my personal history?

2.Do I need to include more than 10years history?

Is this okay?I am only providing PCC for UK and my home country.

Do I need to mention my Travels in Singapore in my personal history?

Is this okay?I am only providing PCC for UK and my home country. -- usually PCC is required for the places where you have stayed for more than 6 months. So this should be fine.

Do I need to mention my Travels in Singapore in my personal history? -- You will have to mention all the records, as you will be required to share you passport and all the visa details during later stages.

I am putting unemployed for those durations.

I will put Singapore in My Travel History.But In Address History should I put the addresses of my Singapore stay too?As I have stayed for almost a month in a hotel but it was not my residence.

Make it in a chronological order... for ex:

2006-2012 - Country A
2012-2013 - Country B
2013-2014 - Country A

All these details will be used in two places, 1. Travel History 2. Address history (usually where you have stayed for more than six month)

Remember you will have to get a PCC for all the countries where you have spent more than 6 months. Doing so, will require you to mention your address for each of the places you have lived, be it a hotel (you may have provide supporting documents as required by authorities).

I'm the main applicant, in the travel history for my spouse, we could go back up to 2009 as we have all the passports regarding these travels. however we have no information about any travel before that (a couple of them happened between 2007 - 2009) since Old passports are usually kept by the state and we can't get them back and therefore we can't see the dates we traveled. what to do in this case ?

Hi! I am having a bit of trouble with the information on Personal Activities.


I received the ITA 9 days ago, I have added all the information that CIC is asking , at this point I am only having issues in PERSONAL ACTIVITIES. I have added all my activities, even the gaps in my history that I have been as unemployed. I already checked and I dont have any history gaps. The only gaps that can be found in PERSONAL ACTIVITIES I added on TRAVEL HISTORY. at this point i dont have any further information to add and it doesnt let me check for completeness. The system for the option that gives doesnt allow me to put my travel history on the PERSONAL ACTIVITIES Section since the only options available to add have to be:


1.Educational Activity
2. Employment
3. Goverment
4. Military
5. Organization
6. Unemployed
7.Homemaker
8.Retired

When i click on CHECK it says there is an error, that i have to add al the information from the last 10 years and actually I am even starting my activities since 2000! Thats definitely more than 10 years! additionally I already put the information in chronological order and there is even a green checkmark for that section. but still shows me a validation error for personal activities

Anyone know why is this error happening? There error seems as asking me for additional information

well if its a techinical error trying using a different browser, or even a different laptop if it would work

but if i would have to guess there is a days gap or day overlap somewhere... so go through what you have submitted and see if there is a gap, there should not be a single day gap between last 10 years.

if that also doesnt work, remove everything from personal history section and start over...

i know its painful but what has to be done, has to be done... lol.
