Personal Days (Paid) count towards CEC 1 Year Experience?

Hi, I took three days of personal leave to go to Montreal for a Seminar. For these three days, I received full payment from my company as personal days are paid time off according to the company policy. I will be finishing my 1-year experience on February 7th, 2023. I have already received an ITA and planning to submit my file on or after February 10th, 2023. If I get a letter of employment from my supervisor/ HR on February 10th and submit my file on the same day, will there be any issues with the three days of personal leave I took?

Thanks in advance.

No issues, you are allowed to have reasonable amount of vacation time. Just make sure in the letter it says you have been working full-time with x hours per week from Feb 7, 2022 to Whatever date then you are good. Also you don’t need the letter when you submit your profile, you only need it when you submit your actual application (within 60 days of ITA)

Thanks a lot. Yes, I’m planning to submit my actual application on or after mid-February since I’ve already received an ITA in yesterday’s draw. Just for a quick follow up: by “whatever date” did you mean the contract end date? Or, the date when I get the letter from my supervisor ?

Usually they should give you until the date the letter was given because they can’t prove future work exeperience
