Its pretty bad when Its my land and mothertongue and I just dont know whats going on in these forms. ??? Whats worse is all the letters I write to immigrations has to go to the Berllin office, and they dont understand what I am asking. I told them my wifes arrival date would be about 17 months, so they told me to get the medcal exam right away. After the fee, gas, the day off and driving 2 hours, the total thrown out the window was around $600. :'( The Berlin people told me afterward The medical exam is only valid for a year. Maybe I can get better understaing and answers here.
So lets start here:
"A permanent residence visa is issued for a period of the expiry date of the medical results for you and your family member".
So that means my wife has to get approved and into Canada within 1 year of her medical exam, but what happens once she gets to Canada? Does her permanent Residence Visa get extended? How long can she stay?
Worst case scenario:What if the application had problems and took 13 months? That would mean she has to get the medical exam again, but will that also hold up the application, or is it already apprved peding a new examination?
