Permit/visa for a medical observership of 6 weeks?

Hello!! I'm a medical resident in Mexico and was accepted to do an observershio at MUHC (McGill, Montreal). It will last 6 weeks and I'm not being paid.

I was wondering if I need a visa or permit.
