Hello,

We have got our PR approval and got the Permanent Resident Visa and COPR letter. We are in Canada now. I have two questions:

1) My wife and child's study and visitor permits expired on Jan 03, 2020. In the meantime, we considered to apply extension and status recovery, but our PR application is finalized.

I asked CIC and they told me they can stay 90 days in Canada without studying and working. We have a planned visit in March, (we will complete the landing at that time.). Our plan is just taking the flight and completing the landing when we come back. Our visa expires on August 15.

So, we plan to finish the landing on April 08 at the airport border.

Is it ok, do we need to recover the status before leaving?

2) We will take all work, study, visitor permits (expired ones, the receipt and information letter for the one (BOWP) I already applied but still in progress). COPR letters, passports and pictures (for the PR card they ask when you apply through the appointment in Canada)? Do we need to take something else for the border?

Thanks
