Hello all,

My question is specifically related to Permanent Workers who are willing to apply under Quebec Immigration laws. Any one out there who applied under these laws? I actually need to gather all the information and problems that I can face regarding this kind of immigration. I am not willing to hire or pay lot's of $$$ to lawyers and consultants for just making simple application.

Also, I have done Bachelor's in Computer Science (hons.) and completed 16 years education.. Where this degree lies in Quebec Areas of Training?? I see Computer Engineering (4 years) in Section B while Computer Science (3 years) in Section C... But I have done 4 years.. so what would it be?

I shall be very very thankful for all of you.

dear jigzyy,
it is a good question, can you tell me what are you doing now what is your job profile, because job profile also decides title in which we can apply.
with regards.

Thank you very much. I meet almost all the requirements. Just have couple of confusions actually. what will be my Areas of Training? Should I look under Foreign degree or under Quebec Equivalent? As I am very much sure that my 4years Bachelor Degree is mostly recognized all over world. If I look under foreign degree, Computer Science is listed under Section C, If I check under Quebec Equivalent, it's listed under Section. Points difference matters alot.

As far french is concerned, I've enrolled myself in online french classes.. probably recognized one.. I think I'll prepare documents and will attach letter mentioning that I am taking french classes..

is TEFaQ can be taken worldwide?

Hi all,

I have a similar question:
I have 2 majors at the bachelors level from a US university - one in accounting and the second in finance, and I have about 18 years of full-time study; all that being said, I am confused which category of education I should chose - what's the Canadian equivalent? there are several options: 1). 2 yrs of undergrad at bach. level + at least 14yrs of full-time study; 2). 3yrs diploma and 15yrs of full-time study; 3). two university degrees at the bach. level + 15 yrs of full-time study

Any input will be greatly appreciated
