Hi,
I am 38 years old. I am planning to settle down to Canada along with family. Is this decision good or bad?? Kindly suggest.

First you need to figure out if you can qualify for any immigration programs. At your age you will likely not qualify for Express Entry and will need to look into provincial nominations.

I assume that you qualify and get PR.

Good or bad decision is really a personal perspective and will change from person to person, as well as your family situation. You will need to evaluate that on your own, no one else can tell you that. Are you not satisfied with the quality of life where you live? If not, are you willing to move to a new country with a different culture, knowing that it comes with risks and there is a settling down period of atleast a few years, which can be tough.

It will be a big change if you are from anywhere outside North America. However, the rewards are good in terms of a stable govt, better healthcare, diverse society and relatively crime free environment.

I would suggest you evaluate the pros and cons for yourself, all of us at this forum are more than willing to share our experiences.
