hi just wanted to ask some questions here hope somebody can give me an advice. my husband failed to declare me and our child before he got his PR is there anyway he can change it and add us to his dependant? your reply would be so much appreciated.. thank you!

if you can prove that your marriage is genuine..,,im not so sure..but try consulting humanitarian and compassionate case..search about it,u may be granted PR f approve

so youre saying that theres no way he can put us as his dependant? he already had his PR.

When your husband failed to declare you and your child on his application for PR that means he gave the govt a false information.."FRAUD"..

so what do we need to do? just leave it like that? what if he applied for citizenship? what will happen?

A friend of mine,,she went for interview for PR and was approved but then she asked some questions which led the officer to ask about her change of status..she married during the processing of her application and she didnt giv that information to cic immediately..the IO asked her if she wants to sponsor her husband she must do it with a new application but if she doesnt want she couldnt sponsor him "FOREVER"..

If it doesnt bother you ,,i wud ask.,,did your husband fail to check"accompany you to canada" or he failed to put your infos to his application,,does that mean he applied as single?

I guess he didnt put any info of me and even our daughter in his application. We are not married yet when he got his PR. If that so can he still change or add his dependant?

So you got married after his PR?He might have not put you since you were not married which is totally jus fine sponsoring you but in the case of his child thats another story..

oh really? yah we got married after his PR. is there a possibilities that he can add our daughter now in his PR since we are already married?

When a person applies for PR,he/she must declare all dependants whether accompanying to canada or not..The child had to be examined during the process of his application..In this situation, the child is not a part of the family class as the result ofthe misinterpretation.. he may can sponsor his child through humanitarian and compassionate reasons..

See the other thread that you have posted in, he signed that he had no dependants.
That signature agreed the terms of immigration.
