Hi, I am looking to travel back to Canada from the United Kingdom for a short period of time. I have an expired PR card however I do meet the residency obligations. I have looked through the Canadian High Commission in London website and I know I can get a Travel Document to use along with my expired PR card.

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience or knowledge of whether I could just travel to Canada on a return ticket as a British citizen or would I still need to have this travel document as I am currently a permanent resident. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

The correct procedure would be to get the travel document or just go on your expired PR card and hope they don't make a big deal of it. Arriving just with a passport implies that you are coming as a visitor which you are not, you are a PR.
