Permanent Resident Travel Document (PRTD)

Hi guys,

Does anyone have experience of getting permanent resident travel document from Manila office?
My PR card was expired in Feb and i will be travelling to South Korea from next week to April.
I have more than 1500 days of residence in Canada within last 5 years so it should be approved without any problem.

But what i am concerning is that I will be staying in South Korea for 30 days only. Do u guys think I can receive my PRTD before my return date? Website tells 5 working days for initial response + delivery time for Manila office, but I want to hear from someone who have actual experience of receiving it.

I got PR on Dec 10,2009. Applied for PR renewal on Dec 11,2014(after 5 years) after completing 735 days.I completed these days in multiple visits. I had to repeatedly go back to India to attend to my ailing mother. My PR card expired on Jan 10,2015. I had to go urgently back to India on Jan 07.2015. I applied for travel document on March 10, 2015. Still no response. Am I ineligible for TD. Kindly advise. What should I do
