Permanent Resident husband wants to sponsor wife for student permit

I am a PR. My wife has obtained an admission (in her field of expertise) in a university in the city I live in.
Can anyone tell me if I can act as a financial sponsor and bring her to canada on a study permit? Will her student visa application be accepted?
