Hello everyone,
I have done my 2 years studies in Canada and got my 3 yrs work permit which is going to expire in March 2019. But I haven't found any job related to NOC category yet. I have few things to get clarified:

1) Suppose, I find a NOC category job by next month so when do I have to file for PR? Do I need to wait for 1 whole year or can I file my PR before that?
2) And for instance I work for 4 months in a retail industry under NOC and switch to another job in a financial industry under NOC, would my previous 4 months retail experience be considered? But for PR process what NOC number would they consider since retail and financial industry jobs are different?

I would really appreciate if you guys could clear my doubts. Thank you!!!

You can apply once you have at least one full year of work experience. For Canadian work experience it doesn't have to be continues.
The jobs have to be in the same NOC.
While creating the profile you choose which one is your primary NOC.

Thank you so much for your reply but I didn't get what you meant by 'doesn't have to be continuous...'

It means there can be gaps between employments. For example you worked two months in one company, after that you were unemployed for two weeks and, after this time, you started working in another company for the next ten months. Added together gives one year of work experience.
I hope I made clear enough.
