As someone living in the UK, if I am successful in applying for Permanent Residency through Canadian Experience class option how soon do I have to enter Canada? I am thinking of applying now (while my 2 years experience is valid) but may not want to move to Canada for another two 2-3 years. Is this possible? Or will it expire?

Thanks

I am in similar situation. I will apply soon, then take a short trip to land once approved. Then, I will come back until I get a job in Canada.

As far as I know, you have 6months to land once your application got approved. However, you don't need to stay there for good. You can still go back to the UK after short landing, then you have another 2 or 3 years to stay in the UK. You have to live in Canada at least 2 years within 5 years.
This is my knowledge, but I am not 100% sure. So, please confirm with seniors!

You would have to land within the time frame specified by the VO - this is not a fixed length of time, but is usually determined by how long you medical exam is valid (1 year from the date of exam).

You would have to provide an address in Canada to receive your PR card.

You could return to the UK, but to keep your PR status, you would have to live in Canada for at least 2 of the next 5 years. Read here:
