Hi everyone, i have been notified by the immigration that i am eligible for Permanent Residency including my family. I was given 90 days to complete all the necessary documents e.g Annulment papers, passports of my kids and custody papers. However, my annulment case is not done yet. It's been 2 months since and i only have a month to complete everything. I sent a letter to the immigration asking for extension but no response yet. What should i do? I am so frustrated now. My lawyer in the philippines cannot determine when my annulment will be finalize. What should i do? Please help. Thank you.

Hi. you and my mother were almost in the same shoes. The only diffrence is, she had hers as divorce. the office had asked for the Divorce Certificate on April 2014, and the Divorce Certificate was not released yet that time. the deadline was supposed to be may 2014. But we asked for a 4 month extension, which they have granted. Just wait for their response. We had received the response only last month. So it was a 3-month wait. And they have set the deadline of the requirements on September 1st.

Thanks for your reply. I called the immigration and they told me that the quickest reply would take til january. I 'm so frustrated right now. Am i going to do the applicaion again if i didn't give them all the documents they need after the given time? And which address did you sent your letter? Thank you. Appreciate much for your reply
