So my P R card was not current and they wouldn't let me on the return flight, I've done all the paper work for my entry visa which would satisfy any racional person IE photo copys of British passport, BCdrivers license, old PRcard, utility Bill's, and my renewal form for my new PR card.
I've lived in Canada for 51 years so you would think they could find enough documentation on my status, yes I should have become a citizen but just never got around to it, I've been stuck hear a week already and the stress is starting to get to me let alone the expense, does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might speed this up.

..thanks Stuart Sullivan.

You need either a valid PR card or a valid PR Travel Document to board a flight that lands in Canada. Information about applying for a PR Travel Document can be found in the link below. I can take a few weeks for the application to be processed.

Renewing a PR card takes quite a bit of time and there is no way to speed up the process. You need to apply for a PR Travel Document if you haven't done so already.

The other option is to fly to the US and then re-enter Canada through a US/Canada land border.
