My wife, daughter and I landed in Toronto on 26th November and gave an address in Vancouver for our PR cards to be sent to. We have since returned to the UK and are waiting for our PR cards to arrive at the Vancouver address. We have heard that my wife's card arrived on or around 17th January but neither my daughter's nor my cards have arrived. Is it usual for there to be such a gap between receipt of cards by people who landed together in the same place and at the same time? Should I be worried?

I have tried to contact CIC but the call centre number is toll free in Canada only. Does anyone out there know a way of contacting the call centre from the UK using the toll-free number or is there another way of contacting them?

Thanks

Don't worry about it. The cards often come at a similar time but sometimes they don't. Even if you could call them, they would only tell you to wait a couple of more months and see if they show up. If you want to go to Canada, you can go with your COPR if you are visa exempt. If you are not, you need a travel document from the embassy.
