Permanent Residence

Hello,

One of my friends had applied for permanent residence under the federal skilled category in Sept 2009. And the medicals were done in Jan 2012. All the required documents have already been submitted. Its been over 4 months since the medicals and he has'nt heard anything yet. He is a highly experienced manufacturing professional who has been working on a valid work permit since 2009.

Any feedback would be highly appreciated on why it is taking so long.

He might get PPR [Passport request] in coming 2-3 weeks.
