Permanant Resident Visa and COPR at Buffalo Office

Dear Friends,

I have received a request to submit my passports from Buffalo Office. I am planning to submit the passports in person.

With the recent changes from May 7th that Buffalo office do not take applications personally, can I get permanent resident visa stamped in Buffalo in person? Also, from people you have already done this, when can I expect to receive the passports (same day at around what time). Please advise.

Buffalo only stopped serving non-immigrant visa applicants in-person -no change for immigrants. Several people over in the family and skilled worker threads have recently gotten their passports in person. I don't know if there's been any impact on the timing from the changes.
