My wife studied in Canada and she is holding a PGWP and I am holding a spouse open work permit. We apply for CEC and get AOR already. I am the principal and my wife is the dependent. We are applying for BOWP together right now, but I hope to clarify some questions first.

1. In form IMM5710, the employment history only has 3 spaces but my wife has 5 employment history. A very nice person tells me to write all working experience on another sheet. But I don't know where to upload the sheet. Maybe put it together with IMM5710 and upload?

2. IMM5713 can't be saved. I think I will just print it out , fill the form, sign, scan and upload?

3. We are both in Canada. Do we need to upload Schedule 1?

4. In "Family Member Proof of Status", do we need to upload work permits of both of us? There is only one place to upload. I guess I will put them together and upload?

5. Again there is only one place to upload photo. My wife's photo is not required?

Thank you very much!!!!! ;D

I could be wrong about this, but shouldnt you have a separate BOWP application for you and your wife. Im not sure why you are applying together

Yes, they can apply together at the same time (the principal applicant + her spouse).

Hi,

I have applied for OBWP for my family recently.
1) Pls create a word document and add the extended information the same table format as in the form. In the OBWP online application process, you can attach this in other attachments & add comments in file, naming & any text box for the CIC case officer to understand the word document.
2) Yes
3) I am not sure. We were also in Canada and did not apply for Schedule 1. What is schedule 1? can u provide the details from CEC
4) U need to respond to the questionnaire correctly. If you had answered that your spouse is working and will need a work permit, it will request for all the right details in website
5) same as above

I believe the OP is referring to the new In-Canada application for a TRV:
www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5257B_1.PDF

If you are from a visa-exempt country, then this is not applicable to you.
If you are not visa-exempt but have no plans to travel, this is optional. You would need a TRV to be allowed to board a flight returning to Canada. Might be good to have "just in case."

Thanks, RajGlen.

I go through the questions again. It's so weird because it requests exactly the same materials.

Your documents:
Application Form(s):
Application to Change Conditions, Extend my Stay or Remain in Canada as a Worker (IMM5710) (required) (Opens a new window)
Supporting Documents:
Marriage License/Certificate (required)
Family Member Proof of Status (required)
Passport or travel document (required)
Digital Photo (required)
Use of a Family Member Representative for Online Applications (IMM5713) (required) (Opens a new window)
Optional Documents...

Family Members
You have told us that additional people will come to Canada with you. Please attach their documents below.
Application Form(s):
Application to Change Conditions, Extend my Stay or Remain in Canada as a Worker (IMM5710) (required) (Opens a new window)
Supporting Documents:
Passport or travel document (required)
Optional Documents...

And it indicates there are 2 work permit applications and total fee is 310.

But I still can't find places to upload my wife's photo and my current work permit. :'(
