If you are being sponsored by your spouse in Canada, you have to hire the lawyer in Canada, not Pakistan. If it's a straight forward case, you shouldn't need to hire a lawyer...the process is simple to follow so long as you do what they ask for. Also, is there a reason why you only did you Nikkah? That will raise a red flag, so make sure you give them a good reason or give a date when you plan on having the Rukhsati.
